Our global reach reflects the international demand for accountancy professionals. Join the most integrated accountancy network in the world, and see where it takes you.
To be the fastest-growing gateway to the accountancy profession, ACCA has had to grow significantly. Over the years, we’ve merged with other like-minded professional bodies, and partnered with many major institutions and organisations that have helped us to achieve our objectives. This page gives you a brief overview of how our global influence supports your career.
Qualifications and support are delivered locally around the world through an extensive network of like-minded accountancy bodies. Forging strong collaborative partnerships has also helped us to increase the level of support we provide to students, such as joint examination schemes and valuable local industry research.
We’re also delighted to have mutual membership agreements with some of these bodies. This gives ACCA members access to incredible benefits offered by diverse organisations such as the Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA-Canada), United Arab Emirates Accountants and Auditors Association (AAA) and the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
Global professional partnerships
We enjoy close working relationships with many other relevant professional bodies such as the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT), Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
Professional forum representation
Furthermore, we’ve made sure that ACCA is represented across a wide range of relevant institutions, committees and organisations around the world. For example, the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) and Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB).
To deliver world class qualifications, we also work closely with academic partners such as Oxford Brookes University, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University and the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. And through our innovative partnership with the University of London, you can place yourself at the forefront of ground-breaking change by studying for the world’s first integrated MSc degree with the University of London at the same time as taking your professional qualification with ACCA.
ACCA has joined forces with CA ANZ, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, to form a strategic alliance.
The Alliance brings together the resources of the largest global professional accountancy body with one of the world’s pre-eminent CA bodies, enabling both organisations to strengthen their reach, relevance and resources for members. By sharing expertise across geographies and sectors the Alliance will ultimately create a stronger voice on behalf of its 788,000 current and next generation professional accountants, comprising of 308,000 members and 480,000 students across 181 countries.
